System Advantages
Low Noise & Minimal Vibration Operation
Blade Aerodynamics Braking limits blades to rotate at rated RPM which could avoid higher noise and vibration caused by extreme wind. Pegasus wind turbine system noise output is only as low as 40db at 13m/s, which makes Pegasus series wind turbine a perfect choice for residential rooftops and more public facilities.
Extreme Wind Resistance
- Pegasus series wind turbine survival wind speed now is 60m/s(or 133mph).
- Abandoned traditional failure-prone mechanical furling system, the blade itself is designed with over-speed braking system which will generate a reverse reluctant torque to limit the rotor rotation speed within its safety range.
- A patented simple beam design optimizes the whole system structure of the wind turbine, which enhances the system extreme wind resistance ability dramatically.
Light Breeze to start
The HY Pegasus 1.5KW wind turbines can also be rotated by the light breeze (1.6m/s to 3.3m/s) just like the former wind turbines in the third generation of HY series. And the wind turbines start to cut in at the wind speed 3m/s and gradually stop when the wind speed higher than the preset one and protect the wind turbine itself.
Excellent Performance Generator
Inside the alternator, copper wire and permanent neodymium magnet are used and manufactured reaching B grade insulation (max. 180℃) which could keep the alternator far from its chronic fatigue caused by long-time operating in high wind speed.
